We generally have between 16-20 ladies playing each Wednesday. Those wishing to play, need to email Sandra Bowman by the Friday prior to Game Date. The pairings are posted to the website by the Sunday prior to play and are deliberately formed to provide the opportunity to meet and play with as many different people over the season as possible. The pairings include, in brackets, the quota points you have been assigned.
If you are new to the league your initial point quota is based on 36 minus your handicap. If you do not have an established handicap, your points quota can be determined from 3 completed hole-by-hole scorecards. If you do not have 3 completed scorecards you can play in the league without entry cost until you have 3 completed scorecards. From there, a point quota is maintained for you without the use of handicaps.
You should arrive at the golf course ready to play 15 minutes before your tee time. Two scorecards per group are kept while you play – an official card and a backup. When finished, each group is responsible for getting the official scorecard to Daphne Taylor. A photo of the scorecard may be taken and emailed to Daphne at ds-taylor@earthlink.net or the card may be dropped off at her house in Fairway Estates J 62.
